As a subscriber to the RealOne service for a month and a half now, I must say it's awful. Read on to hear my reasons and just how stupid MusicNet really is.
Slashdot has posted an article about a paper written by one of Napster's founding engineers. It is a mathematical evaluation of Gnutella discussing why the network won't be able to scale up to any reasonable size.

Good news for the electronic economy in 2002. Sales of consumer electronics goods from manufacturers to dealers will surpass $95.7 billion in 2002, according to figures released today by the Consumer Electronics Association.

Earlier today, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Philips Consumer Electronics introduced the industry's first portable TV photo viewer/MP3-CD player.
