Posted by DMemberThe Dark Aeons in on December 19, 2003 at 2:12 PM

Our new album is in post production and will be available online for free. It will be released under a Creative Commons license that allows copying and trading for non-commercial purposes. A preview track "Plan 9" is available now here on DMusic and in rasterized.org chapter #023

Horray for Dark Aeons! Welcome aboard the ever growing number of common sense music artists who allow our music to be freely traded under Creative Commons style license. Electric Gypsy encourages folks to download and copy any and all of our music from now until the end of time for non-commercial use and sharing. You can't fight p2p (and shouldn't.) Folks will still buy your albums and merchandise(and perhaps even more so) when you
embrace the fact that the music itself should not be restrained unfairly. If the RIAA wakes up (or admits) to this realization, we indies might be in real trouble when trying to compete on the already unlevel playing field.
