Dixie Lewellyn is an amazing artist, poet, friend, mother, potter and wife.
She suffers from Autoimmune Hepatitis; a disease that she was diagnosed with six years ago and now she is facing a liver transplant.
Alot of artists and bands have united to compile I'm Not Ready To Go,
a benefit CD to raise money to help Dixie live.
Why does this mean alot to me? Well both of my parents also suffer from the same disease, I know first hand how hard it is for an individule to get a transplant and what happens when one can not be afforded. Hep C as the disease is called is not unlike AIDS, the disease masks it's self and fools your body all the while destroying you liver.
