After Code’s Goals and Plans topic yesterday I began thinking of ways to assist the movement. One thing that came to mind, though it is sometimes stated when we talk about our representative(s) for the most part, we do not really seem to know where everyone who comes to this site lives.

I think if we had a general idea of where members lived, we could become more unified and have an understanding of what locations we have the most influence/individuals in and what areas we do not. We may discover that some individuals live considerably close and may be able to meet up and collaborate plans of actions. In order to become a more influential and perceived organization, having a general idea of our locations could help immensely, in developing plans of action, and knowing what areas we are lacking in numbers. If and when and substantial amount came in(say 100+) I could tabulate percentages and other statistics for areas such as country, state/province and region within a state/province.

Now I’m not requesting specific information, but for anyone who is willing, perhaps they could send me general information which I will denote more elaborately in a moment. Since this was my idea I’d like to take the responsibility of keeping the figures and calculating the results.

Below are two columns, the left denotes various parameters, the ones followed by an asterisk are required. To give you an example, the right column has my figures for the parameters. Please no specifics like full name or street address.

Private: In the same scenario as depicted above, I will ask you if you want me to tell the other parties that you live near them.

I wouldn't mind giving my demographic info if, in return, provided will ba a list of politicians in my area of who to vote IN office and who to vote OUT of office.

In order to get that done, I would also have to also send you the politicians names. Unfortunately, I don't know any of their stance about P2P, Filesharing, DRM, or Copyright...except one.

I have checked out Marion Berry. It took several hours to thoroughly look him over. He seems more interested in senior citizen's Medicare rights, medical insurance, nursing homes, and school budgets. He does not think about nor care about the issues here at Boycott RIAA. I guess he is OK to re-elect.

Well I would certainly look into your representatives if I knew your area, if you wanted me to do so. Also a list of good/bad politicians has been in discussion on various threads.
