QCD 4.0 has been release. For those that do not know, it is a skinnable, freeware, music player. While it is not the most widely used music player, it steadily continues to grow in popularity.
If you have been watching the news, you may have noticed plenty of QCD development releases lately. It seems QCD was on the fast track to a version upgrade. Almost every beta had notable features, and a lot of work has been done. There are news skinnable components, MP3pro support has been added, CD ripping plus MP3 encoding is now included, and a ton of bug fixes have been made.
One of the unique things about QCD is that it can have 'families' of skins. It's like having multiple skins all in one. This can be used for multiple color themes, different sized modes, window shading, or anything else. Each can have a playlist, visuals, equalizer, and various other controls. All of this is freeform so anything can go anywhere, be any shape, and include any component.
