WELL, DMUSICIANS, We are finally starting our radio station , radioDM or DM Radio , or DMusic radio, er , well , we'll figure it out....
We are starting with dmusic playlists, suggested by our listeners and artists, and sent to us by email or DM notes, and we will have 10 channels, al in mp3 playlist format. NEXT we need some announcements " DMUSIC radio is on the air" stuff like that! And some commentary on the artists and the music. DJ anyone??? Just put up the mp3s at your dmusic page and let us know the URL. Lets start there....
ALSO, Ask thumbtack for help with , ahem --- META TAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK! Now I have your attention - or actually you have my attention.
First issue - standardization of meta tags vs. dmusic directory structure
I don't know shit about any of this, except I am totaklly disorganized and I need Bill or Fu-dog or Milla or somebody to get involved in this.
What is the standard format anyhow? Does Dmusic's naming and directory structure help or hinder meta tag use? What about copyright info? How much info do we want to collect? Should we devise a form right now and implement it on all uploads? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think having different shows would help such a rock show,country show,rap and hip hop show,at different times so it gives everyone a flavor of differnet music and if you dont like that certian type of music you dont have to listen at that hour...

As long as you dont use a photo on the tags it should be fine. Artist name and song title..
