Many users have their cache set to save pages to help speed up surfing on websites they visit on a regular basis. (this is often the default setting)
This is good, but it can be bad as well. With the recent changes to DMusic, if you are using your cache on the DMusic pages, things may not work as you expect, because the loaded page is looking for graphics, and other things on the wrong servers. This may also make you see old pages, not the current version. To update the pages, you need to clear your cache, here is how you do it.
How to clear your cache:
Netscape and Mozilla: Go to Edit, Preferences, then select Advance then Cache. Then click on the buttons Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache. I also check the box "Every time I view the page" Then Click OK. This will force the new pages to load brand new, and should help eliminate some of the issues we are seeing.
Internet Explorer: Go to Tools, Internet Options, When the Window opens In the Temporary Internet Files area, press the Delete Files button and press OK. Set "Days to keep pages in history" to zero and press Apply. Click the Clear History button and Yes.
Opera: Go to File, Preferences (Alt+P), Network, History and Cache, Then click the Empty Now button beside Disk Cache. Then at the bottom, select Always for Documents, Images, and Other. Click Apply and then OK.
AOL: Click Settings, Preferences, and go to Internet Properties (WWW) .In the Temporary Internet Files area, press the Delete Files button and press OK. Set "Days to keep pages in history" to zero and press Apply. Click the Clear History button and Yes.
While these setting may slow page loading a little, they will also assure that you see the latest updates to a page, and with dynamic websites like DMusic may actually speed thigs up..GO DO IT NOW!
