Now in its 7th year, the NEMO Music Showcase and Conference will be held September 4-7 in Boston, attracting music industry professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world. With three nights of music (featuring almost 250 artist showcases and the prestigious Boston Music Awards), two full days of panels, workshops, clinics and a trade show, NEMO takes place in Boston, a city renowned for being a hotbed of new talent and for breaking new acts. NEMO is the ideal forum for musicians, industry professionals, and music enthusiasts who want to explore the most up-to-date, current information and critical issues that are confronting today's music industry. NEMO MUSIC CONFERENCE
With the beginning of the 21st century and its rapidly developing technology, it is increasingly important to keep up with the stream of new information, language, and resources in order to successfully meet the challenges that are transforming today's music industry. Attracting almost 2,000 registrants, NEMO provides topical and in-depth panels and workshops geared toward everyone involved in the music industry. Panelists include high-profile representatives from record labels, Internet music companies, managers, booking agents, publishers, retailers, artists, and much more. NEMO also offers performance clinics, a mentor program, an acoustic stage, and a trade show featuring exhibitors from an array of companies in the music, media, online and retail industries displaying the latest in products, services, gear, and new technologies.

NEMO MUSIC SHOWCASES
The major night-time component of NEMO is its showcases - almost 250 of the hottest new bands and solo artists from all over the world performing in 20 of Boston's best clubs. From rock to hip-hop, folk to r&b, blues to country, and everything in between, NEMO covers it all. Creating a unique platform for new talent to perform in front of some of the most influential decision-makers in the music industry (as well as almost 15,000 music-loving fans), NEMO is a celebration of today's best new music and continues to be THE place for people to discover new and emerging talent.
