Posted by RockGina in on April 7, 2003 at 2:35 PM

Fellow Traveler's,

Spring is finally here and we are all very excited about getting back on the road and seeing all of you soon and for all of you to hear the new record. It is going to be a busy year so I hope you all are rested because the guys are anxious to get back on the road. As always thanks for your patience while the guys were in the studio, you all are the best !!

"Truth Be Told" is the title of the new Blues Traveler record, the guys had a great time recording the record with Producer Don Gehman. The planned release of "Truth Be Told" is sometime in early July.

News on Red Rocks- The guys will play Red Rocks this year July 3rd and 4th. More info on these shows soon.

Blues Traveler are also very honered to be involved with a very specail CD project involving Red Rocks this wonderfully magical place we all love- The first ever- Red Rocks Volume I: Craved In Stone CD will be released on April 19th.

For this project, the band was asked to pick a song from one of their live shows at Red Rocks- Blues Traveler chose "Alone"as it was the first time played at Red Rocks, since the passing of Bobby as Chan said" There is no place Bob would rather play, see or hear a show."

The CD priced at $8.99, will be available in Colorado at all Best Buys stores and nationally at bestbuys.com. It will also be available at the new Vistor Center at Red Rocks in late April. All profits from Red Rocks Volume I:Craved In Stone will go to the "Preserve The Red Rocks Fund," a donation- driven reserve dedicated to the rehabilation and perservation of the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater.

For more info go to-redrocksonline.com.

BT Tour dates will be posted soon. As well as news about the new wesbite launch along with the new launch of the wonderful fan site- bluestraveler.net. So check both sites soon.

Much more to come soon...Have fun Love Gina

I would love if you guys played a show somewhere in washington or northern Idaho, you'd be surprised, there are more fans here than just about anywhere else and I would just love to not have to drive to Wisconsin, to see my favorite band. Please take this suggestion into consideration.

Holy Smokes! It's about bloody time. I'm sure it will be a good album but, I do hope that Chan gets back to playing lead again though.

How about CT? I need that one little BT show a year in Hartford (Harbor Yard/Bridgeport, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun) or anywhere in CT once a year to keep going.
P.S. How about a revival of Bullshitter's Lament?

Hey, it looks like I'm not the first to request a venue, but how's about you guys honor your roots and come back to NY/NJ. There are loads of fans here that would love a few small-venue shows. Tradewinds anyone?

GOT POPPER? from SD here. John, I have decided when you are ready to get over your self-message on your tattoo, the next one can be, "I will be brave". When you get over that idea, then the grand finale can be, "I am brave." Listening to Blues Traveler music can be very liberating for you. I do it. Loved the show in Granite Falls, MN. Looking forward to the next midwest show. I'll be there! - coach
