VMA's: Worth the Time?
Presenter and presenters list from MTV.com

I know what you’re thinking, you’re thinking Tim is it that time of year again? Well it is. It’s the MTV Video Music Awards!!!! Yes once again MTV hosts it’s infamous awards ceremony as usual on a Thursday night this August 29th. I know your asking yourself is it worth tuning in for. Well, I’ve done the research and I’m gonna let you know just that!!

The only reason I think that supports the idea to watch this show would be the host for this year’s shindig, Jimmy Fallon. Even though he is a teeny heart throb, the guy is funny. His impressions are incredible as I’m sure you have all seen on SNL. He was on the writing staff this year for the show, so this show should prove to be a very funny show indeed. Let’s hope there isn’t too much corny dialogue between presenters, because that is the most annoying part of any awards show. I mean these people are entertainers and I don’t care what you do, but if you’re an entertainer you can act. You may not be a Clark Gable, but you can make something believable, but most musicians suck ass at this, anyways let’s hope that Mr. Fallon made it a little easier for these artists to be funny without sounding so corny.

I’m not too big on rap and hip-hop and anything that else that ends in –op, but here are a list of the performers that will be gracing us with their talents this year:

Ashanti
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band (Should be really good)
Sheryl Crow (Heck ya!!!)
Eminem (LOSER)
The Hives
Ja Rule
Nas
P. Diddy (The guy can put on a show)
Pink
Shakira
Justin Timberlake (That's a laugh, but he can sing)
The Vines (These guys are pretty cool, the lead singer is really wild on stage, like he took 52 hits of acid wild)

And here is a list of the presenters:
Christina Aguilera (Eh)
B2K (Sounds like a Burger King combo meal)
Brandy
Bow Wow (Honestly)
Clipse
Sammy Hagar (Awesome musician)
Enrique Iglesias
Anthony Kiedis
Avril Lavigne
Linkin Park
Kylie Minogue
Nelly
P.O.D.
David Lee Roth (He's still alive! ;))
Britney Spears (Fake)
Usher

Also presenting:
American Idol Finalists, American Idol Judges (Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson), Carson Daly, Kirsten Dunst, James Gandolfini, Kate Hudson, Johnny Knoxville, Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy, Mike Myers, NSYNC, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (THEY ARE SO HOT!!!), and Busta Rhymes.

All in all, I would say if you have the time, watch it MTV’s shows tend to be rather funny. But I wouldn’t schedule things around it as you’ll be able to catch this show another 42 times in the next 5 days, so it’s no sweat if you don’t watch it Thursday. And be sure to have your favorite streaming radio program open, Winamp, to sincityradio.com so you can listen to ChillinBuzz's and Guppy Killer's music!! Well, this concludes my first real article.

Why do they even call it MTV....shows like TAILDATEERS don't even involve anything with music, I miss the good ol days when they just had videos...somewhere along the way they screwed up and MTV2 isn't the solution!!!
