what happened to 3.0??

be carefull whit programs like bearsheare they contain spyware whits may use your computer whitout your promission.

Hm 4.0.0 is to big version for not so much changes. But I'm starting to use Cnucleus more and more. It looks more advanced and has no problem with spyware. But Gnucleus could use some artist to make GUI pritier.

I would use gnucleus, but I get a lot of MFC42.dll errors with my firewall. Still, bearshare almost works well, and I think it has a lot less spyware than kazza.

tried to download from c/net but it wont download has it been taken of line???

I am new to filesharing. How can I download bearshare and avoid the spyware? When downloading, do they allow you to not install the spyware? Please post back any experiences with the new bearshare. Thanks.
