I have it from a very reliable source that GameCube will drop down to $149.99 as soon as tomorrow! Wow I really can't believe that these things are getting so cheap all of a sudden! I wrote a whole D-Musical Notes article once on the video games console war and this news is just amazing enough for me to report on again.
Aside from that, Big Bad Bill Gate's X-Box has finally come through with it's online service dubbed X-Box Live it will launch this fall for about $50 a year. Not half bad for all you crazy gamers out there. For more news on that check out this article.

if only i didn't hate the gamecube so much that'd be pretty cool. we have sony to thank for this wonderful price war  i think this is the fastest consoles have ever dropped in price, am i right?
how long did the N64 stay at it's opening price?
i don't see how sony will sell anymore ps1's now that gamecube is a mere 150 bucks.

my friend with the xbox just bought spiderman for 30 bucks (CANADIAN)!
fun game, except it pisses you off real fast.
