A new version of Gnucleus (a Windows Gnutella client) has been released. Changes in this version: - All files hashed during idle processor time with SHA1
- Alternate locations are given and collected when transferring files
- New Gnutella web-based cache system created, developed by the Gnucleus team
- New Re-Search system, Gnucleus never stops looking for more sources
- Transfers saved between program runs
- Keep-Alive support for multi-source uploads

Although my stance is neutral at the moment, I am very supportive of p2p technology. I believe we have the right to share whatever is ours as long as it is not physically detrimental to anyone.

Cool. Standard hashing is the way to gor. In that way we can be sure two files are identical even if the name is completely different. I hope that gets us also more alternative DL addresses for one file.
