A new version of Gnucleus (a Windows Gnutella client) has been released. Changes in this version: - Multi-Source Downloading (Gnucleus can swarm from all Gnutella clients
- Chunk corruption management by grouping hosts into compatible families
- Ability to resume partials and its associated chunks
- New system revises communication between the network and the GUI
- More robust IRC cache system
- Revised network hashing and routing algorithms
- Internal browser now has web surfing buttons
- Shared directory watched for changes
- Fixed Windows NT and 2000 problems
- Fixed evolver bug

It will accept a 0.4 connection, but does not attempt connecting in 0.4 mode.

is a very good client because conect very fast and re research file multi file down etc.
connect 0.4 ? bershare and lime wire utilise 0.6 ? mmmm

Gtk-Gnutella also does not attempt to make v0.4 connection if v0.6 fails. Not really network-frendly behaviour because I guess ~50% of the nodes on the network doe not support 0.6 handshake.
