From writing camps, and producers with music tracks, all the way through the 'roll-out' of the finished product, this is a blow-by-blow walk through the music business today. Less artistry, more showmanship... and at the end of the day, more than a million dollars later-- how much does the artist get?
Until all the expenses are paid, all million plus, the artist gets zilch. But the songwriters who worked reportedly for 12 minutes on a track that paid them $15,000 -- okay, they were probably grossly overpaid, considering most lyrics today. You decide.
