It's been one week since we launched gnutella.com and the feedback from all has been amazing. Thanks guys!
Unfortunately I haven't had much time to dedicate to the site over the past few days and I see that it directly effects the amount of posts and interactivity on the site, so we're officially looking for admins to help out!
There are different admin positions available. We need:
* One or two people to moderate the forums.
Interested?
* Two news admins who would report news on things going on with the gnutella community and things that effect it.
Interested?
For each position please include whatever experience you have in either, how much time you have to spend on the site per day/week, etc. We reach millions of people, this gig is "for fun" ... you have to be reliable, otherwise please don't bother to email about it.
Besides that, we're going to be adding a number of features to the site here soon. Some of you may have noticed we updated the
Community area. You can now browse stances.. and over the next few days we're going to add the ability to comment on user stances and journals.
Webcams can now be updated via a java-script every few seconds so you don't have to reload the whole page.
A couple of bug fixes here or there.. and OH YAH, emoticons! Did I forget to mention emoticons? Hmm.. I know they work in the comment boxes, I wonder if they work in the news system itself... :) :| ... hmm we'll see. If they don't they will soon! Speaking of news, did you know you can all
submit news?
If anyone has a suggestion or two that would be.. good. Suggestions that don't suck get implemented quickly you know..
And there you go, from gnutella central, this is Angelo ending this long.. un-edited... spur-of-the-moment... unprofessional news post.
