The Rodrica Rudge/Michael Duran collaboration Baobhan Sith (pronounced Ba-van-She), a rock number which tells the Scottish folklore tale of a female vampire, will be featured on Glastonbury Radio as follows: Sun Jan 10th, 2am & 7pm, Mon 11th, 10am, Thur 14th, 8pm & Sat 16th, 8am UK GMT time.
The town of Glastonbury, in the UK, is synonymous with music festivals and mystical history. Glastonbury Radio, founded by ex-BBC man Ross Hemsworth, usually only plays signed artists. However DJ Mark Ellis is a fervent supporter of independent artists and is always on the lookout for new, exciting music. Mark discovered Baobhan Sith on one of Rodrica\'s websites and felt it would be ideal for his Independent Artist slot on his Roots & Branches Radio Show.

Rodrica has also recently reached the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Competition with two of her songs. One song, Complicated Life, was with DMusic\'s very own GENE HILBERT on guitar. The competition, which was judged by many significant music industry personnel, is an excellent guide as to whether your songs are \"publisher material\". Says Rodrica \"I would like to encourage all independent artists to get their music out there by uploading their tracks to websites and by entering competitions. I have now been featured 4 times on Glastonbury Radio and my songs have performed well in a number of competitions. The internet has provided many opportunities and independent musicians are seeing more success than ever before\".
