Girl Scouts singing at a campfire without authorization from the music cartel -- terrible! Shame on 'em. What is this world coming to? I tell ya, [quavering voice] things are going to the dogs, mo-o-re and mo-o-re.

Wait, I just remembered: Sometimes I sing in the shower! Gadzooks, what if someone heard me? And there I'd be, practically guilty of a crime, too, because they're not always just indie tunes. I just know some of the songs are the domain of ASCAP. [EEK!]

As they say, who knows what e-v-i-l L-L-L-LURKS?
(in the hearts of men, or in the throats of men, or in the ringtones of men's phones . . .)
[gasp!]

Music industry is running amuck and looking to crucify anyone...just goes to show that indie music will continue to gain momentum as this montrasity sees CD sales continue its plummet...

Maybe they should argue that it isn't a public performance if the cell phone is in the user's pocket. Surely that's considered a private area or something.

Maybe we could collectively copyright the standard riiiiing riiiiiing riiiiiiing of an old-fashioned phone. We could make BILLIONS!!!
