DMusic has gotten ugly over the past few weeks, but we want to bring it back! Breaking news stories, the best bands on the web and top notch software and hardware reviews. But we need your help!

DMusic is the oldest surviving digital music site on the web, besides perhaps IUMA. But we were much edgier and ... controvercial in my humble opinion.

With the stock market going the way it's going, we were forced to make some cuts and while many of the members of our staff are still around contributing what they can, many had to move on from their dream of running the largest digtal music site to persue primarily offline ventures until things pick back up.

But that doesn't mean the heart and soul of DMusic can't be brought back to life! Ever wanted to reach hundreds of thousands of people with your efforts? Be part of a tight team and have a blast meeting new people all over the world and in the entertainment industry? Here's your chance!

There are only 6 positions available. Please, only apply if you're serious and willing to dedicate a few hours a day to this project.

We need:

(1) General site-admin. Responsibilities include managing writers, filling in when no one is available and generally making sure things are updated.

(3) Writers. News/music/hardware/software all relating to digital music, MP3's, etc. are the topics, consistency is critical to this position. Answering and monitoring all the comments to your stories is also very important!

(1) Software reviewer. This person would be responsible for keeping the software database up to date with new MP3-Software releases. Each require a short review and an official rating!

(1) Community motivator. The central op in our chat room and also responsible for community events and contests. Generally in charge of coming up with ideas and ways to motivate the community!

I think it would be cool to help - but - I am not that great w/ computers but would be willing to give it a try in the software review section. I do that now I download alot of things and try them out for awile if I like them I keep them if not then I remove them and send the companys an e-mail on what I liked or dis-liked about the product,and as far as how much time I could put forward lets say how about 6 or 7 hours aday.

All you have to do is register and the popups will go away. So ... go ... now and get rid of that Anon.
