you know what's really alarming about this?
"The company was able to trace the file back to its original source. "
notice they said the "company" was able to trace this, not the government or the military (who should have been all over this by the way)
kinda makes you wonder a few things.
1. who in the hell "big brother" really is. who the f*** is this company that they have the right to be getting this invasive in the first place? this is clearly something the DoD should be taking care of. why? well, simply put, what's to keep these people who are essentially spying without having to answer to any authority from selling what they find to the highest bidder?
2 we (as private citizens or corporations) are forbidden from doing business with Iran because they are on the official list of people to hate. Yet, this backdoor company is obviously exempt from these constraints and can pretty much do want ever the hell they want to.
3 if they can get access to top secret government intel and military systems under the guise of looking for illegal music, what do you suppose they can do to the average citizen?
uh, oh yeah. nobody cares. never mind.

What I find ironic is "The Company" is also spookspeak for the CIA.

More than likely a load of crap, designed to stir up trouble against p2p software and networks... File sharing's become an even more contentious issue since Obama took office. This is just an attempt to ban p2p by claiming it's being used by terrorists... My guess, anyway.
