As Too Many Fish, their collaboration has united hip-hop swagger with house chic, fluid rhymes with rigid dance beats, New York with Paris. The duo manages to coax fresh sounds out of this exotic blend of styles without ever coming off as anything less than inspired. The bouncy bass lines, thumping beats, vocoder-heavy choruses, and rhythmic storytelling of �Subway Girl� demonstrate the enormous potential of this international twosome. The world would be a much better place if other cross-continental partnerships were half as successful as Too Many Fish
