Most haven't heard because the same
parent companies that own the labels
the RIAA rpresents own the mainstream
news outlets.

It's very handy for them.

An organization the can lie in a court of
law, in front of a judge, and get away with
it has no problem lying to the general
public.

They didn't drop any lawsuits.

" They didn't drop any lawsuits. "

That much they admitted.
They said they weren't dropping any
current lawsuits and claimed that they
hadn't started any new ones since late
fall.
Of course, the media owned by
the same parent companies parrot
it as thought it were the truth, without
any fact checking.

This was as difficult to check as opening
a new PACER account. I guess the only
requirement to be a 'journalist' is
.. Never ask any questions, and write
what you're told.
