Oh I can play like him. Just not as well. He comes up with some licks that just can't be played. It's not humanly possible. I've tried

Does anyone know when and where BT will be touring in the spring? I'd really like to know, as I've yet to see a Blues Traveler show. I know. I'm an embarassment to BT fans everywhere.

I have yet to hear a better lyricist then John Popper. The lyrics he writes tells a story that you can lose yourself in. My personal favorite is Canadian Rose.
P.S. I own all your cds including Zygote

I have been a bluestraveler fan for at least 6 years now and have yet to see a show, the one thing people are getting tired of hearing is how my schedule and The bands tour schedule never work out. I think they played in my home town 3 days after I had to return to school. with this web cast I will finally get to hear them live.

I have been a fan since '91. I have seen shows in tennessee, michigan, florida, colorado, maine, vermont, and canada. If BT is not playing close to you, go find them - it is well worth it.

Blues Traveler was gonna come to me. See, I'm in Millersville, PA, and they were supposed to play the Chameleon Club, in Lancaster, just a spit away. But Gettysburg University pitched a fit! Bunch of jerks.

Shame about the Chamelleon Club. I'm from MD, but have been there to see Sponge and it would have been a much better place to see BT. College campus shows suck! Can't ever get close to the band. Crowd full of pushy, self-serving twenty-something year olds. I was in the front row, at John's feet (as usual), and the guy next to me spent most of the evening putting his foot under my heal every time I lifted it up in an effort to move me out of the way so he could move his friends in. Well, needless to say, I spent the evening STOMPING the hell out of his foot until he finally gave up. Is ignorance something you can major in or does it just come naturally to some people?

Any chance BT will tour with The Other Ones (TOO) on a future (maybe next year) Furthur Tour? I would love to hear John Popper tackle some of the stuff Ron "Pigpen" McKernan (a founding member of The Grateful Dead - their resident bluesman)did (covers that Pig did or Ron's originals - "Easy Wind" (see Working Man's Dead, 1970) or "Operator" (see American Beauty, also 1970) or the soulful "Two Souls in Communion" (check tapers' sources or Dick's Picks series of GD albums for this one). --"The Postman" (Wall of Sound radio show on Access Sacramento, CA) Oh, yes, we play lots of blues and BT! Zygote and Frogwings also rock!! Will BT ever play in Sacramento, CA? Are the guys touring to San Francisco? BT can drop into my show any time... howabout it?

Look, everyone is always asking in this thread about shows. Instead of getting someone else to look for you, why don't you check out the tour dates page on this very same website? If it's not there, stop whining and wait, or go to them.
