Here's a nice album - one of those nifty DAM CD's that MP3.com puts out to save bands CD costs. And they sound darn good too. This is one of those album I deem sunday
morning albums because it's nice and quiet yet could fit nicely in with anything modern rock has to offer during the week too. 'Alien Boy', the first track, is one of my favorites,
but it's 'Lost and Alone', the second cut, that's my airplay pick. As for slightly more rocking tracks, listen to 'Stop Draggin Me Down' and 'Hard Times'. The band describe
themselves as Americana, which I believe is something of a cross between country and folk rock, and that is exactly what this is. There's nice dual vocals on many of these simple
track. Awesome!

I love the sound of Walkie Talkie...The production is very good. The vocals and instruments weave a perfect blend that is very soothing to the ears.

A solid album. This is music that can span various genres and still work; thanks mostly to the rock-steady talent of the band. The guitarist, Chris Ladd seems to draw inspiration from everyone from Page to Stone Gossard James Iha. Beautiful Work!!!
