Courts have upheld 15-second excerpts, and rightly so. Otherwise, the copright protection mania has gotten out of hand . . . NOT what our founding fathers intended!
Something needs to be enacted to straighten out what fair use is, damn it.

"NOT what our founding fathers intended!"

The understatement of the century. Our founding fathers NEVER intended copyrights to be used by mega corporations with which they sue 12-year-old girls, dead grandmas, disabled moms and college students destroying their lives. Copyright law was an after thought. Copyrights were put into the Constitution to INCREASE creativity, not sue people for listening to music. Copyrights were supposed to be for LIMITED TIMES.

Our founding fathers are turning over in their graves.

Please tell me you will appeal this decision... ( and simultaneously (though discreetly) or subtly expose a lack of knowledge on copyright law as well).

*on their part, not our part (about the lack of knowledge)

I was disappointed at first, but I'm not gonna appeal it. ReVVer has the right to refuse anything they want. They are in the vid hosting game for the money (sharing it 50/50 with the vid creator) and they appear to manually screen submitted content.

(Thus, you won't find very much RIAA stuff there!)

I respect them for that.

Besides, the "objectionable" part of the vid is now at YouTube:
