I have just finished an album that has taken ten months to develop. I was wondering how to sell it, whether to sell it in the first place. After spending quite a bit to set up the infrastructure to burn and print the cds, I realise that I do not want to make it too commercial. After all, the idea is to share the music, but sustenance has to be achieved in some minimal form. So I was wondering if people would contribute money if they ordered the cd and liked it. Apart from the cds, I also feel like distributing mp3, wav and iso versions of the album. I just want to know how this will be received. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
