Keith Forman of DMusic's own Black Mike Silver who is MY pal (and YOURS) just did a solo show up in Ohio where he lives...
He performed the entire Beatles "White Album" on his own.
(I can't wait for a copy of the disc/dvd!)

A couple of months ago, I was involved in a local Beatles project featuring a five-piece band, a wind ensemble, two singers and a small choir. About 15 songs were played. I played the piano and sang some backing and lead vocals.
A recording of one of the concerts was done. I might post one or more songs if they sound decent.

Our drummer can't make it tomorrow.
But I have been working on "Tomorrow Never Knows" since I heard the news that he wasn't gonna be able to come over.
Don't know if I will ever bother to finish it or not. But I got a scratch fruity-loops drum track, a faux-bass guitar track (using my de-tuned gut-string flat-top) and a scratch vocal (...my voice, sorry) so far.
lol, I even shot footage of me caterwauling to make a vid (maybe.)
When I get it to where I don't think it is TOO embarrassing, I will post it here at DMusic. Just give me a couple more days, (it's taking more time and harder than I thought it was going to be.)
...if I do a vid for it, I guess I'll stick it on YouTube or DailyMotion.

Now that I actually went and listened to a few of the songs leflaw's collected at http://beatlescovers.dmusic.com
...I'm scared.

Hey, this is a revelation to me. DMUSIC ROCKS! I had no idea we had such depth. Kudos to all who have submitted thus far, especially Rocky Larsen, who suggested the whole idea of a DBeatles compilation, and Bowillie who started cataloging stuff.
Don't worry schmoo, it don't take much to make the cut - we have solo guitar and mono mp'3 that made it.
Next, DROLLING STONES?

 ..thank you larry.
anything beatle related is a compassion
for me..and not a chore by no means.
and im thrilled to see more artists here
getting involved(i hope more do)
for some im sure the stigma of doing a cover by anyone is kinda against the grain..but alot of the beatle tunes are so easy(three four chord stuff)
that doing so doesnt have to be a daunting task(same for the stones)
so come on folks..give us your versions and participate in a very fun and entertaining venture.
(actually im glad to see the activity
on this site increase because of it.

Ok, I guess I'm done with fugging it up...
Tomorrow Never Knows (my BEATLES cover that was promised/threatened a couple days ago.)
DON'T ask me to do any MORE damage to that song!
...but, if YOU are a DMusician and want to play with it further, (if you want just the drum/bass or drum/bass with the RAW vocal on a separate track...)
DNote me and ask!
(I erased all the other guitar and other parts because I am/was NOT happy with the noise I just now made!)
But, I promised I'd do a version of this song for you all,
and tho I didn't get to have anyone else in my band on it,
I DID GET IT DONE!
(lol, as sucky as is sucks!)

I assume it is not a typo, so what is the significance?

ah..just a play of words..being the album cover used was the imfamous butcher shop cover..that soon got changed to the sitting around a trunk cover..those butchershop albums are very rare and collectible.
(and also..some of those got the trunk version pasted over the butchershop versions..some people have been know to steam those albums looking for the rare ones..lol.
