Saturday, October 20, 2007 - The 13th Planet family (New record label run by Al Jourgensen of Ministry) is saddened to confirm the devastating news of the sudden and unexpected death of Ministry's bassist, Paul Raven. Raven was working with French recording artists Treponem Pal on their new collaboration with Ted Parsons (ex-Prong/ex-Killing Joke/Jesu) and members of The Young Gods in a small village on the French/Swiss border. Initial reports indicate Raven's passing was the result of a heart attack. This news comes only 1 month after the release of Ministry's final studio album, "The Last Sucker". Yeah I hear ya. Saw him last year on tour with Ministry. Never think a year later that he'd be gone, especially with the release of the new Ministry album just a month ago, & his appearance at the Grammys as well. Never really listened to much Killing Joke, however, the few Killing Joke songs I've heard on satellite radio have been quite enjoyable to myself & a large cross-over audience I'm sure. Damn shame.
