The 25-year-old, who made headlines with a spell in a rehabilitation clinic earlier this year, makes the appeal on her website.

Spears suggests a number of titles, including "OMG is Like Lindsay Lohan Like Okay Like", "What if the Joke is on You", "Down Boy", and "Dignity".

It would be her first full album since In The Zone, released in November 2003.

Spears filed for divorce from husband Kevin Federline in November 2006, and then embarked on a much-publicised spell of partying.

But she ended up in a treatment facility in February after shaving her head in public.

She fired her manager after she left the clinic, and has recently performed a series of short concerts in nightclubs around Los Angeles.

Sheesh leflaw! What's yer obsession with all the RIAA pop diva's? lol

Her next album should be called "Garbage" (and/or other even less clean monikers!)

britney should call her next album "Be careful what you wish for" and include a couple of songs that are completely out of character for her.

let's try "Another Piece of meat" from the scorpions or a reworked version of "ice cream Man" by Van Halen.

then she should hire me as an artistic consultant. wait, she still works for a RIAA label doesn't she? crap. she has no future.

Not smart enough to name the darn thing herself? How's this for a title then: "Yes, I Really AM That Dumb".

Why can't Britney and Paris get together to make an album? It would certainly help win the war!

Perhaps due to the head shaving incident....she should record a track for track version of "I do not want what I have not got" by Sinead O'Connor w/ Britney tearing up a photo of Paris Hilton on the cover Lots Of Laughs Then copy every single move Sinead has made since, including the ministry, etc. etc.

Anybody remember the wig she wore for the Red+Hot+Blue video for "you do something to me" Blushing

I was thinking of an album title for Brittany:
"I may be a dorky diva, but I can still make money for my label."

On second thought, that's too long (even though factual).
It would be better to be more brief:
"I'm not a dorky diva; it's just a dumb act."
