Shtt,

Now I or one of our DMusic guitar gods have gotta be next?

(GRRR you DUMMIES!!! YouTube is RIAA AFFILIATED!

Don't none of you GET IT yet?)

----------

Make our almighty leflaw figure out a way to host our efforts HERE instead of at some other site that pays bribe money to the RIAA.

OK kiddos, time to put on thinner strings, scallop the fingerboard between the frets and do some serious bending
and sweep picking....

Let's get Yngwie Malmsteen to be the impartial judge...or not..

Much as I like Victor and InsaneWayne, Leflaw is ahead in the competition by a nose...er...by a shred...

TomSong....get that high dollar guitar of yours out and show 'em how it's really done.

Acoustic shredding....tapping acoustically...Tom Barger for President...
I can see it now....
"Bending notes and winning votes"...
or...
"Tom Barger, Bringing Harmony back to Politics"...or....
"Better an Arpeggio than Shock and Awe"...or
"Republics and Guitar Licks, where else but America"
:) (Smile)

From what i've noticed -- YouTube is slowly tunring into that happy but contraversial middle ground. Lesser evil to serve the greater good. Of course its yet to be seen if that actually holds up or not.

Just as per GDZ's article explaining how using RIAA Unlimited download services puts the MAJOR hurt on Album Sales -- upon which the RIAA depends upon and budgets by -- YouTube also seems to be trying its hardest to make sure the songs used ensure that the copyright holders of those songs get their fair share of YouTube revenues. Which yeah, it helps the RIAA Artist but it will also help Indies, too -- IF -- they can actually pull it off -- which again -- has YET to be seen.

I wish YouTube the best of luck with that one. They'll need it.

"YouTube also seems to be trying its hardest to make sure the songs used ensure that the copyright holders of those songs get their fair share of YouTube revenues."

I don't see any concrete proof of that yet Twarrior.

I certainly DO see lots of evidence that Google's acquired YouTube pays tons of $$$ to the RIAA and other big-name boycottable entities for the content they feed to the audience previously gained from USER submitted content.

...but, let's all get back to this guitar "shred war"

(much more entertaining than our Boycott Riaa philosophical argument crap!)
