Hello it's Marvin from Empire Day. Thought I'd let every one know that I really
do exist. I know it's been forever in the works as to whether or not Empire Day
was ever going to release a new album and the answer is yes!

I'm sure everyone has already heard from Rich about our second album release ("long dark shadow") currently scheduled for an august release date .

We're also trying to schedule some live shows for a cd release party, so if you've seen the poll that Rich has posted as to how many people would come see Empire Day live please let us know, if you don't know where you can vote go to the forum on the left:D (Big Grin), it's very important to generate enough votes to make it worth our while,
it's not a very good party if no one shows up.

Now back to("long dark shadow") I'm really excited about this album, however I'll tell you this if your looking for ("black sky horison") 2 don't, this is a completely different animal don't worry we wouldn't dream of cheating you out of that good old gloom and doom, but it's just way different. It's way more of a roller coaster ride of breathtaking highs and somber lows.

the sound, the layers, and even a lot of the song structures are much different from ("black sky horizon")
please don't miss out on this one, plenty of bang for your buck, a lot of songs Destined to become
classics on this album.
