Killer idea ..
I know that we don't particulary flow with the ...well fads and mainstreem, but we do all strive to somehaow be more known. As well as DMusic being more known as the BEST place on the web for real indie music!
why not use what we can, just like most of us artist have a page at every site we can find.
How about next we hit other bigger sites as a indie lable of sorts like DMusic_rock.(namethesite).com with a selection of artist from this site just a wild crazy hair poping from my head (or ass as may seem to fit now that I read it )

what other sites do you recommend? site popularity on google is determined mostly (if not all, so i've heard) on how many sites link to your site. . .

MySpace is too cluttered with garbage that crashes my browser. But sure, Dmusic should have an official MySpace page. (Many other websites do.)
My own band has several indie websites we use. (All have links pointing back home to our Dmusic page.) Promotion is promotion. May as well use MySpace now before Murdoch eventually destroys its' usefulness.

hmmmm, MySpace is free for anyone and has the most users, and DMusic costs money and gives a band less exposure.
i wonder which one i'll use...

^DMusic cost no money, unless you are so inclined to subscribe. and much better space alotment, and quality mp3s not downgraded sub par bitrate^

But other than that its a great other place to network and try to build more fans if your an artist and find more music if your a fan. We've been there for some time I think that its great DMusic should have a page there.

My vote... I hate Myspace. Am I on there though... yes, just because EVERYONE keeps bugging me to be on there. It's retarded though, I know people who'er big time 'freaka's and they use that sh*t as if it were a phone.
Shh... don't tell anyone this, but I spend most of my time deleting BS "friend" requests... just because I gotta' be on there, doesn't mean I gotta' be fake like everyone esle, so I only allow friends from people I already know or seem to have the same interests.
But any ways... you guys have 177 now and that's pleaty... but if 'yer not just about whorin' myspace out and want contacts, you can add me 'n' my crap here http://www.myspace.com/supportug .
And InsaneWayne... "too much jailbait there looking for old guys" Who says that's a bad thing?!?! Hahaha...

None of you fools should have a myspace. Period. Posting Dmusic on Myspace is completely degrading. That's seeing a small ad for a small store on a huge add from a huge store. Gah! Every is still going to stay on MySpace.
Except Me.

Here is my favorite:
http://www.myspace.com/dansindel
Going to that link is greeted by the following:
"Invalid Friend ID.
This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted."
