Message: Hello there,

2 years ago me and some friends started writing a script for a movie. Now 2 years later, it's had it official premiere in the cinema, had it's DVD release, and can now be downloaded for free on our website..

The music used in this film comes from many international artists. Most of them I got to know by your site, dmusic. I started searching for songs I liked, contacted the artists and asked them for permission to use it in our movie. We managed to get around 20 different bands/artists/composers, and even the whole soundtrack can be downloaded from our site.

I wanted to thank you guys for having such a great website, and give us filmmakers the possibilty to look for great music, and use it in our filmprojects.

Thanks.

More info about this film? Read on:

Living With 2: The Living Continues is a dramatic comedy, made by amateur filmmakers from The Netherland. The whole movie was shot with only one, real simple mini-dv camera. It took them 18 months to make it, and the movie had it's official premiére on September 26th, 2005 in the Pathé Cinema in The Netherlands. After the DVD release, StampCinema films has now (6 months after the premiere) released the movie on the internet, for free. Also, one of the many extra's on the DVD can be downloaded, "Living With Shorts", which is a compilation of many funny clips recorded during the making of the film.

The soundtrack is made by international artists, from amateur bands to filmmusic composers, and is used with permission from the artists.

The length is 54 minutes, and Living With Shorts is 15 minutes.
Audio: English
Subtitles: available in Dutch and English

Both files can be downloaded for free on http://www.livingwith2.com

Who knows this might be an interesting news item, to let the artists know that even filmmakers search through the thousands of songs listen on Dmusic, to find the songs they would like to use.

"interesting news item?"

lol, ok

(but only saying it might be "interesting news" undersells it a bit if you ask me.)

They'll do themselves in in due time, but not when you have people paying 99cents for each track they download to the apple ipod.

99cents... It's unbelievable. Well, as they say a fool and his money are soon parted.

99 cents is absurd. 9.9 cents is more like it.
0.99 cents would make the entire music scene explode and turn the filthy bastards at the RIAA into billionaires so lets keep it at 9.9 cents, seems like a good compromise.

And fuck that $150,000 per 'illegal' download/upload crap.
