Posted by ElectronicVan in on February 8, 2006 at 10:26 AM

The assets of appleLoops.com (an online audio loop sample library) have officially been acquired by audioBase.com. According to Martin Sitter, the Director of audioBase.com, "As audio applications like GarageBand, Soundtrack Pro, and Logic make it easier than ever to create high-quality songs on any Apple computer, unique and specialized sample loops will play an ever increasing role in audio production. By acquiring the assets of appleLoops.com and re-branding them for cross platform compatibility, we hope to catapult onto the stock sample scene and create a strong base of sounds for today's computer music makers and soundtrack designers."

audioBase.com is focused on delivering high-quality sample loops from leading producers and session players (AIFF and Apple Loop formats). According to Marketing Director Reed Clayton, "With new artists added monthly, you can expect our instruments and genres sections to fill out with some of the most unique sounds on the web, so check back regularly or sign up for our newsletter."

With loop libraries covering Hip-Hop, Techno, Piano, Flute, Guitar, Drums, and Didjeridu, there's a wealth of sound on offer at audioBase.com. Loop libraries range in price from $19.50 for 200 loops, to $99 for the 1,500 loop "Mega Collection."
