p.d. wohl has moved to the ARC (Artists Resource Centre) - check it at (livework.ca)
on Powell at Commerial in Vancouver. It is a building with over 80 artists residing.
His studio wohl.of.sound is now set up and ready to rock! A new control room
is being built too. The studio is a 900 sq/ft open space. pd prefers to record right in
the loft - keeping things cozy for his singer/songriter clients.

p.d. has recently wrapped production on "Southern Time"- a rock opera by Tim Bartsch and
"Blackout"- a CD by local alt rocker Sherise Valley. He has also been producing,arranging
and playing all the tracks for many song by local country writers Bird and Tines. Some of these
track will appear on a new CD - which is being pot out by a small label in California.

wohl of sound - is available to the local songwriters on a budget. p.d.'s specialty is taking any song and turning into a radio-ready production. He will play guitars, bass, keys, banjo, lap steel slide, percussion and background vocals. He also has an amazing array of loops and beats in all styles from rock and pop to country to electronic/dance to hip hop to lo-fi cool. He uses Cubase SL as his main recording program on a very hot PC. And if you interested in just capturing a live performance- he is very capable of making that sound as intimate or huge as necessary.

Recent aquisitions to wohl.of.sound are the Great River preamp, FMR Real Nice Compressor, Lynx 1 sound card, Behringer nearfield studio monitors and the Samson C Control.
