As you know, the internet is a big place where there are all kinds of people. We have put new privacy feature live for ALL users to help keep the folks you don't bugging you away.

In your User Account, you will now see a link to 'My Privacy', that is where you can change your overall settings for Notes, User Comments, Shouts, and Artist Comments. Also, you'll see any users that you have blocked and those individual settings. To block a user, go to their page and right next to the Add to Buddy List (or Remove from Buddylist for current Buddies) you will see a link to Block User. You can set the four areas where you can maintain privacy.

By all means we want DM to be an open and free community, but measures like these give you choice to protect your space on DM if you choose to do so.

But seriously, this is a great idea! It's very rarely needed in the Dmusic community, but I can see how a feature like this could be very handy.

Especially with some of the rabble around here.

Or, if we get too popular and start attracting some baaaad puppies.
