Congratulations to Traf and Sween for winning the DMusic Collaboration Contest with their track "Back To You" (Lofi - Hifi). DM would like to not only congratulate Traf and Sween, but all of the contestants as well.

When new artists come to DM, I've always felt the stong collab-tendecnies around these parts is what sets our community apart from others. Writting music with others is one of the ways artists grow and expand their horizons. This contest was a perfect example of just that. Big kudos to onewhodreams and rhthesinner for their help in organizing and tabulating the votes. Congrats Again!

Yes it is! Traf is one of the most talented guys I have ever heard, and while I'm not as familiar with Sween the talent shines through there as well. Their collab was great & deserved to win as it did. Congrats to both of you and to all of us
I wanted to say that first, because the rest of the stuff I have to say is sure to bring a wall of flame to my usually peaceful DM life.

I got involved with this idea from the start because it was a great idea. My collab partner and myself connected very well and we completed our song within two days of the partners being announced. The song was submitted at that time, certainly one of the first entries received. When the list of partners were published, it was done with a suggestively numbered list - Our winners, talented as they are were #1 that day too. Somehow my collaboration with E11 was listed as #8 in spite of being the first entry submitted. Add to this the face that onewhodreams immediately went to the public shout box and promoted the #1 collaboration, "gotta love it" and we have a case of poor handling at the very least. I told at least six individuals who the winner was going to be before any votes were collected, based on this.

I dismiss all this as typical DM contest baloney, they kind that was raging on last August when I first came here. I got an incredibly cool song with E11 out of it, and no hype was involved there.

Again, Traf & Sween - your collab is great and deserved to win this thing. My point is that the contest was not handled fairly.
