All I know is that 0% of the money goes to the RIAA, which is my primary consideration in every entertainment purchase..

I urge anyone who can to donate at least a buck to a reputable charity to help those folks in asia. (Be wary of any RIAA affiliated charities tho. There are PLEANTY of orgs who have nothing to do with the RIAA/MPAA.)

Not unless a miracle happens.

On the other hand, I was working for TorQue the night I lost my mind in Aug. 2003. Oh wait. They were working for me.

So if I can convince Steve Luongo to let me be a towel boy or something, it would create some sort of cosmic karma space-time continuum warp repair kind of happiness. At least for me.

The John Entwistle Foundation is NOT affiliated with the RIAA.

George, I wasn't accusing any such thing.

Furthermore, MOST of the artists listed in the article to perform at one time WERE affiliated... but most no longer are (as far as I know) even tho I'd wager that their known tunes are RIAA "property."

I SUPPORT this effort in Florida folks. I appologize if I led anyone to believe differently.

(I only wanted to urge you to support the relief effort thru channels OTHER than RIAA ones.)

...but, even if it is Elton John, or Hillary Rosen, or Itchy Bunghole who convinces you to be a good citizen of the world, I won't fault you for helping any way you can.

Sometimes, we SHOULD put down our swords for a moment.

"George, I wasn't accusing any such thing."

I know that. Just clarifying.

I think that the Entwistle Foundation is one of the most apt to do benefits for natural disasters. The Who was something of a natural disaster itself, as hotel owners around the world will attest.

You can still hear the Ox when it thunders.

I'm really torn on the raising of money for disaster relief. On one hand I want to open my wallet and help as I cannot physically go to any affected area, on the other I've seen so many instances of corruption with the raised funds, especially those involving 9/11, that I'm reluctant to do so. Right now, what those people need is food and water. We can bomb them with money but they can't buy what isn't there. I don't know what to do.

Does anyone have any information about this show? Nothing complicated, simply:
where, exactly?
what time?
how to get tickets?
No info at Ticketmaster, Entwistle, M4DR.org, or the web sites of Universal or Orlando.
