Behringer Drops Prices On Popular Gear

Behringer has announced immediate price reductions for some of its best-selling products in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pan Pacific.

Mr Michael Deeb, Chief Executive Officer of the Behringer Group said: “Behringer has been revolutionary in the industry not just in terms of innovative product features and good quality, but also in making professional audio products accessible to the mass market. Our strategy remains to offer competitive advantages to businesses using our products, and to make professional audio products as affordable as possible to each and everyone of our customer – from professionals musicians to amateurs.”

The Behringer products affected by the price reduction include all the DJ mixers and UB Series mixers. Selected Truth Series studio monitors, headphones, Eurodesk Series analog mixing consoles, Europower powered mixers, and the V-Ampire guitar-modeling amplifier heads also got a reduced price tag.

“The price reduction also further reinforces our popular value proposition Double the Features, Half the Price. Our customers will be delighted to learn that the Company is constantly committed to revising its product prices to increase affordability, but without compromising on product quality and range of features. This reflects our extraordinary customer focus,” said Mr Deeb.

Great news for the consumer, bad news for manufacturing in any country that has a living wage for people to actually be consumers. It’s a vicious circle. Soon, china will own the US and we will all be working at Wal-Mart wearing those cool blue vests and signing our paychecks back to the company for the goods we use. God help me, I become more cynical everyday.

Behringer does make quality stuff. I will endorse them also. (Until they get bought out and end up in some huge corporate merger ...pray it never happens!)

I own a UB502-34.95.Very good product-not THE best but if I have enought talent will put me in the 90% ballpark. Can't get invited to bat unless your in the game. That's what I appreciate about Behringer ,they get more of us in the game and make us more competative -maybe we'll see more music genious.I really don't believe that Behringer will put the "R.E.E.M" [REALLY EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS} out of business , as the "Pro's" depend on it for the other 10% of perfection.

I bought the UB2222FX-PRO for my kids about six months ago. It's small, but has a lot of equalization control and has a digital effects processor in it.

I just learned something cool. I can use my Lexicon MPX 100 spdif output to input of my protools digi 002 rack and get DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING in ptotools by turning the knobs on the Lexicon. COOL!!!!!!!!!

I look at it like this, I saved about $800 on an amp, I can use some of that money to Buy my next Fender guitar (Tele)and have some left over for my 401K( I'm getting old) LOL. Young kids starting out can have a decent guitar amp or P.A. system and enough money left over to buy a nice instument. I agree with clickplay in that companies like marshall, Gibson, and the rest are safe as there will always be a need for high end amplification and instuments.
