(Nasdaq: AAPL) Computer and Apple Corps, the Beatles' record label, have been in legal disputes since 1981, just five years after Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak founded the computer company in Jobs' garage.
Originally, Apple Corps sought sole ownership of the name "Apple" as a corporate title, yet they finally agreed to use the title for music, while allowing Apple Computer to use the title for computer systems.
In 1989, Apple Corps sued the computer company for breech of contract, accusing them of violating the original agreement because it was selling music synthesizers.

Exactly how much money do you think Ringo and Paul actually need these days? Isn't this a bit absurd?

The Beatles and Apple used to stand for a revolution in thinking; now, unfortunately they stand for the almighty dollar. It' really depressing.

Blame it on the fact that our laws allow the existance of something called a "corportation." (When it comes down to it, this is the crux of all our woes.)

Can I patent the frivolous law suit? I see a fortune to be made there.

Crazy, in reality, probably not too much to be made on such a patent, as most frivolous cases are never deemed so by a judge and get to court! but hey, it wouldn't stop from trying to get the patent!!!

They shouldn't allow the use of a fruit in a copyrighted title.
