Clear Channel to Experiment With Digital Radio

The future of radio may or may not lie with the transmission of digital signals, but Clear Channel Communications, the nation's largest owner of radio stations, said yesterday that it planned to spend more than $100 million over the next decade to find out.

here Digital Radio/TV is slated to remove analogue totally between 2010-2012

They have to spend $100 million to determine is the future is digital. I could answer that for half the price :) (Smile)

digital radio will most likely die out if Clear Channel dominates it, just like they're killing FM radio now
