Almanach of synthetisis 2004
Posted by ElectronicMatthieu Simard in on July 11, 2004 at 3:45 AM

The head companies, like steinberg, image-line softwares, native instruments, and many others will not stop to make our brain electrocute, and our dreams getting encoded.

The best music creation tools to me are cubase sx, by steinberg, flstudio, by image line softwares, project 5, by cakewalk, orion, by synapse, and lets not forget buzz, and the upcoming buzzLE, from jeskola.
All these softwares have their plus and their bad, one can prefer the professional system of cubase, and others prefers the easyness of orion. I personaly prefers flstudio, as it hold an excelent variety of options, combined with comfort of a realy friendly interface.
Native instruments, of the best quality synthetizers, well known for their mp3/cd mix console, traktor, and their modular synth, reaktor, that is claimed to be in the best soft synths ever, made lots of progress this year, by presenting their software pack named Komplete 2, that, as it is named, give a complete serie of native-instruments products...but at the aproximative cost of 1500usd, you shall think twice if you dont prefer to stay using a guitar and an amp.
For the tecchies, Synthedit shall be realy friendly, as it offers a huge amount of modules and documentstion to let you make your own synthetizers or even music softwares.
It is 4:23 AM, so i'd better quit before i fall asleep on my keyboard.
Whish this little info pack will help some.
Matt
