iRiver's Craft 2 mp3 player
Posted by AdminMrXero in on May 2, 2004 at 11:58 PM

iRiver announced their new Craft 2 mp3 player which finally sports a clock, USB 2.0, 40 hour battery life off of 1 AA and adds a very sweet new feature that allows you to record live radio while the player is off! That's one of the features I was really missing on the iRiver ifp-390 that I reviewed last year. Asided from those goodies they amped up the headphone output to 18mw from 11mw, pretty nice package.
Hopefully I can score one of these to review!

and we all know how the expense of these devices is justified... the same way the expense for the ipod is justified.

Every one of these that flies off the shelves will be filled with the "evil" digital stuff =D

Is there an RIAA tax on mp3 players, like the tax on CD-Rs?

Probably between 128MB to 512MB... tho they could go as high as a gig now couldn't they?

i have a dell and it sucks
although i do like the amount of gigs on it
but it completely fucks up if you try to take it into the library because of the sensors

I'm guessing that this will go for about the same price as the ifp-390?? I'm wanting to upgrade my old player, and that live radio recording feature sounds pretty attractive.
