There is a lot of conflict over whether Britain should join the European Union. There are two ways that joining will affect us. First of all if we join then we could add to the EU and make it better this would put us on good terms with it.We might be able to agree with their ideas and create our own building a great relationship with the EU decreasing conflict and maybe decreasing the amount of wars we are having at the present stage around Europe. Thus if this happens we will be able to crash down on the bombings in other parts of the world making it a safer place.
The second thing that oculd happen when we join is that it could be completely turned around. Britains ideas may clash with the rest of Europe, we may not support the same things, there could be more arguments leading to more wars.
Do we really want another World War on our hands? In my opinion its inevitable. Within the next fifty years the way George Bush is handling the suicide attacks America will be at war. Tony Blair is completely backing the American and if friction is caused between Britain and the rest of Europe all of this could lead up to World War 3.
Also, Tony Blair has been back and forth over this decision over the past two months maybe more, it isn't making anyone any happier. The brits are fed up with all the oxy-moronic decisions he's been making and the EU just want him to make a decision. He should hurry up before he gets us into more trouble.
